Themed Chess Tournament - The Italian

Event Details

Hey there fellow chess enthusiasts, This coming weekend, we will have a themed tournament. We will play "The Italian opening." This is a very interesting opening with loads of gambit and attacking play. Hope you guys will research on the same and play some beautiful games with fellow chess players.

Agenda

1. 4:00 PM : We meet at the plaza.
2. 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM : We have a brief discussion over the openings.
3. 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM We play a Swiss System Tournament among ourselves.

Pre requisites

1. Please bring a chess board and a chess clock if you have one.
2. We will manage with chess clock app if there is shortage of clocks and if there are more people coming. So please download the same.
3. Please be familiar with fide tournament rules like touch move and wrong move loss. And the rules of chess like En-passant, castling long and short, etc

Tournament will be 10 min Blitz games with no increment. The tournament will start by 4.00 pm in the sculpture court which is just at the entrance in freedom park.
