Variant Details:

Opening Challenge: Start from exciting and uncommon opening positions where both players must think creatively right from move one. A fun test of preparation, adaptability, and tactical awareness.

3-Check Chess: Win the game by giving three checks to your opponent’s king. Traditional checkmate still works, but aggressive attacking play becomes the key strategy in this action-packed variant.

Antichess: Forget everything you know about normal chess strategy! In Antichess, the goal is to lose all your pieces or get stalemated. Forced captures and creative sacrifices lead to chaotic and hilarious games.

King of the Hill: Claim victory not only through checkmate, but also by bringing your king safely to the center of the board. A perfect mix of aggression, king activity, and unconventional strategy.

Racing Kings: There’s no check or checkmate — the goal is simply to race your king to the eighth rank before your opponent does. Fast-paced, tactical, and completely different from standard chess.

Chess960: Also known as Freestyle Chess, this variant randomizes the starting position of the back-rank pieces while keeping the game fully playable. Creativity and over-the-board thinking matter more than opening preparation.
